【PERSONAL GROWTH 】LIFE COLORS, WHAT THE COLORS IN YOUR AURA REVEAL-THE QUESTIONNAIRE (1)

Yellows are the most fun-loving, free-spirited, energetic, and childlike personalities in the aura spectrum.

Yellows are wonderful, sensitive, optimistic beings, whose life purpose is to bring joy to people,

to have fun, and to help heal the planet.

Yellows can either be very shy and sensitive or the life of the party.

These playful characters have a great sense of humor.

They love to laugh and to make others laugh.

They believe life is to be enjoyed.

They like to live life freely and spontaneously.

With perpetual smiles on their faces, they remind people not to take themselves or their problems too seriously.

Yellows would prefer not to work at all, unless their work was fun, playful, or creative.

They love nature and often have concerns for the survival of wildlife and the environment.

Dogs are drawn to Yellows and often become their best friends.

These Yellows are the perfect, fun-loving playmates.

On the one hand, these sensitive, childlike personalities like to please and want to be liked by everyone.

They are some of the most optimistic and considerate people on the planet.

Because they want everyone to be happy, they can be generous to a fault.

People find themselves drawn to Yellows because they feel lighter and happier around them.

Yellows like being around people, but they also need their space and time to be alone.

On the other hand, Yellows can be extremely stubborn and rebellious.

They hate being told what to do and often will do the opposite, just to prove they can’t be controlled.

Yellows are some of the most suppressed beings from their childhoods because they were so energetic and curious as children. Many parents had a difficult time dealing with these active little hummingbirds.

Yellows in power have abundant energy flowing through their bodies as if from an unlimited source.

They can have a hard time sitting still.

While they are listening to someone they will often tap their feet, fidget or squirm.

This is one of Yellows’ most recognizable traits.

Exercise moves this energy through their bodies and helps them stay happy, healthy, and centered.

Long-muscle exercises such as bicycling, swimming, snowboarding, yoga, dancing,

volleyball, tennis, and surfing are great releases for Yellows.

Otherwise, their intense, bottled-up energy will create an inner battle,

causing them to become frustrated, exhausted, depressed, and, eventually, ill.

It is especially important for Yellows to release energy through their physical bodies when they are upset or angry.

When Yellows stay active and fit, they are filled with joy, happiness,

and a zest for life, and they are better able to deal with life’s challenges.

Yellows also have addictive personalities.

Positive addictions include exercise, sports, and creativity.

When in power, Yellows like to keep their bodies fit.

They love playing outdoors, exercising, and eating healthy foods.

They are drawn to nature, sunshine, and warm weather.

If they focus on positive addictions, they remain full of life, joy, and creative energy.

Negative addictions for Yellows include drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, caffeine, sweets (especially chocolate), and overeating.

They can even become addicted to watching television or playing computer games.

If they indulge in negative addictions, first they become high and full of energy,

but then can hit bottom, becoming depressed, lethargic, and confused or angry and rebellious.

Their bodies are so sensitive that they can experience the effects of negative substances for a long time.

It is difficult to convince Yellows to stay away from negative addictions

because they enjoy the substances and do not like being told what to do.

They are natural rebels. It must be their choice.

Yellows are also not very self-disciplined,

so it can be difficult for them to refrain from negative addictions after they become involved with them.

Yellows usually become involved in negative addictions when there is conflict,

unhappiness, or a lack of fulfillment in their lives, but they don’t know how to solve their problems.

Often their inner conflicts began in childhood.

Feeling as if they are unable to please parents is a common problem for Yellows.

(Yellows especially need to bond with their fathers.

They can feel quite hurt if they feel emotionally disconnected or are physically abandoned by their fathers.)

Because Yellows are so sensitive, their feelings can be hurt quite easily.

They can sense when someone is troubled or unhappy with them, but they usually do not want to face them.

Not answering the phone is often their solution.

When they know people are upset, Yellows will first attempt to cheer them up.

Their next impulse is to run away.

If this is not an option, they may then turn to drugs or alcohol to numb the pain,

suppress their feelings, or hide from the confusing situation.

They do not enjoy becoming involved with intense emotional problems.

To make the situation better, they would instead prefer to help people by physically fixing something for them

— their cars, their health, or their kitchen sinks.

Usually, if Yellows recognize that the consequences of negative addictions are a loss of energy,

joy, creativity, and youthful appearance, they will choose positive actions instead, such as staying physically active.

Facing their conflicts, and maintaining a sense of humor can help Yellows veer away from negative addictions.

Yellows need to learn to face their challenges rather than run away.

Not knowing which career to choose is another dilemma for Yellows.

Often, they do not know what they want to be.

In addition to not wanting to work at all,

Yellows are afraid they may choose the wrong careers and then end up stuck and unfulfilled.

Their work must be fun for them.

Because they need variety in their lives, they need to give themselves permission to choose many careers.

Yellows can also be afraid of choosing careers because they don’t believe in themselves.

They are often insecure about their creative abilities, their ability to make money, or their ability to please others.

Yellows are very creative. They especially love to work with their hands — painting, sculpturing, planting gardens, building homes, fixing appliances, working on cars.

They are also procrastinators, however, so the cars they took apart may take months to be put back together.

Yellows can also be creative writers. Both physical and creative projects are therapeutic for Yellows.

Yellows are also very intuitive through touch.

This quality makes them great with massage and healing.

When Yellows give massages, they instinctively find the areas that need healing.

They have the ability to move energy through their bodies, making them natural healers.

When you receive a hug from a Yellow, you can feel energy coming from the Yellow’s body and instantly feel better.

Yellows are also very kinesthetic.

They can sense energy from people and their environment.

It is physically uncomfortable for Yellows to be near someone who is angry or to be in a room

where there has been tension or unhappiness.

Yellows’ bodies are their barometers.

Yellows often have a fear of commitment.

In their eyes commitment may take away options; it means they will have to grow up and accept responsibilities.

They have a hard time committing to one person or to one career.

Yellows prefer choices and freedom rather than restrictive responsibilities.

Although Yellows appreciate being loved, love can also frighten them.

Love often involves responsibility.

Yellows prefer to be liked.

They are the ultimate Peter Pans, actually having a fear of growing up and growing old.

Usually, Yellows look younger than their age.

Unless they become involved in negative addictions,

or there are people making stressful or unreasonable demands on them, they will look and feel young throughout their lives.

The tendency to avoid commitment and hard work, as well as consistently being late for appointments,

often earns Yellows the reputation of being lazy and irresponsible.

(Yellows live so much in the moment that they lose track of time.)

People with other Life Colors, although enjoying Yellows’ generosity and playfulness,

can become quite frustrated and judgmental of their easygoing attitude.

Yellows need to understand that commitment can help them reach deeper levels of intimacy

and self-awareness and therefore add more fun, excitement, and freedom to their lives.

Otherwise, they can drift aimlessly, confused and penniless, forever searching for something to bring them joy and fulfillment.

Problem Solving

When in power, Yellows are creative problem solvers.

They can create unique solutions, usually designed to make life easier.

(It was probably a Yellow who first had the idea of remote control for television.)

Yellows also enjoy reading books with such titles as

A Lazy Man’s Guide to Enlightenment or The Trick to Money Is Having Some.

Often, Yellows’ solutions are humorous.

Their light-hearted optimism helps them keep their heads clear,

therefore, problems are not seen as overwhelming or disastrous.

When Yellows are out of power or are living in fear, however,

they become insecure about their abilities and afraid to take risks.

They will ignore or run away from their problems.

Running away can include physically leaving, sleeping, overeating, drinking, smoking, getting sick,

watching too much television, hiding out with computer games, or constantly moving to different places.

Out of power, they do not like to face responsibilities, hard work, or anything uncomfortable.

When there are challenges, they prefer to take the easiest route, which is usually either escaping or doing nothing at all.

When they realize that avoidance and procrastination usually stem from fear,

they can learn to face their fears and move forward.

After Yellows regain their center, they become relaxed and can once again develop creative solutions.

Money

Money is not a motivating factor for Yellows.

It does not take much money to make Yellows happy, nor do they want to work that hard for it.

Typically, Yellows are not very financially reliable.

They tend to play with money or spend it irresponsibly.

They are generous to a fault; money seems to disintegrate in their hands.

They usually have no idea what happened to the money they earned.

Yellows often become involved with get rich quick schemes because it is easier than working.

(This is especially true for Yellow/Green combinations.)

Making and managing money can feel like too much responsibility.

Yellows need to know that working and managing their finances can be fun and creative.

To create more money, Yellows should simply imagine how it would physically feel in their hands.

This seems to be one method of attracting money to them.

Success

Yellows do not judge their success in terms of money or physical possessions,

but by how much fun they are having, by how much freedom and flexibility they have,

and by how many people like them.

Feeling young and healthy is also important to them.
