【PERSONAL GROWTH 】LIFE COLORS, WHAT THE COLORS IN YOUR AURA REVEAL-THE QUESTIONNAIRE (1)

Blues are some of the most loving, nurturing, and supportive personalities of the Life Colors.

They live from their hearts and emotions.

Their purpose for being on the planet is to give love, to teach love, and to learn they are loved.

Their priorities are love, relationships, and spirituality.

Blues are traditionally teachers, counselors, and nurses — the loving nurturers and caretakers on the planet.

Blues are constantly helping others. They want to make sure everyone feels loved and accepted.

People always turn to Blues for comfort and counsel because Blues will always be there for them.

They consistently provide a shoulder for others to cry on.

Blues are the most emotional personalities in the aura spectrum.

They can cry at the drop of a hat — when they are happy, hurt, angry, sad, or for no apparent reason.

Even watching a sentimental commercial on television can bring tears.

People with other Life Colors may have difficulty understanding Blues’ intense emotional personality.

It is their capacity for such emotional depth, however, that makes Blues so warm, compassionate, and caring.

They are capable of deeply understanding the feelings of others.

Seeing another person cry can often cause Blues to cry in empathy.

(During a group therapy session, if one Blue starts to cry, every Blue will automatically start to cry.)

Blues’ greatest talents are their ability to give unconditional love and their intuition.

People love being around Blues who are in power because the Blues radiate love, acceptance, and forgiveness.

These compassionate beings will even befriend those whom others find unlovable.

Blues look for the good in people. They will give everyone many second chances.

No matter what mistakes people make, Blues will love and forgive them.

This behavior often earns them the reputation of being doormats.

They are often accused of being too nice.

People can easily take advantage of the their unselfish and endlessly giving nature.

One of their hardest lessons is learning to say no.

They are afraid that if they do say no, other people will feel unloved and rejected or will not love them in return.

Blues must learn that saying no to people does not mean Blues do not love them.

Blues are some of the most intuitive personalities in the aura spectrum.

They know things. There are often no facts or reasons to support what they know; they just feel it to be true.

They can meet someone and sense if that person is upset or unhappy.

They can feel when something is about to happen.

They can think about someone they have not seen in a long time and that person will call a few minutes later.

When Blues have a question, whether it is regarding relationships (usually their biggest challenge),

business, health, or other matters, they need only become quiet and ask themselves the question.

They will hear the answer inside. The challenge for Blues is learning to trust what they hear inside and not overanalyze it.

Although all of us have the capability of receiving intuitive information, Blues seem to operate primarily through their intuition. They operate so much from their feelings that they often speak in those terms,

using such phrases as “It just feels right,” “I feel that my friend needs help,” or “I feel something big is about to happen.”

In addition to being helpers, givers, and teachers, Blues are highly spiritual.

Blues believe there is a God, a Higher Power, a Universal Intelligence, or All That Is.

They have had experiences as children of seeing or talking with God.

Their lives are often spiritual quests to learn more about God and to serve.

They are very loyal to their religious or spiritual organizations as long as

they feel those organizations teach what they believe to be the truth.

Otherwise, they go from one church or religion to another in search of more

spiritual knowledge to explain and validate what they feel inside.

Living a loving and spiritual life is a strong priority for them.

When Blues are in power people trust them.

They know Blues would never do anything to hurt anyone and that their intentions are always loving and sincere.

Because of their loving integrity and dedication to high moral standards,

Blues can do something only when they believe in it.

Then they are some of the world’s greatest promoters.

If they discover something they enjoy or that has helped them, whether it is a movie, a book, a restaurant, or a religion,

they want to share their discovery with all their friends.

The loving Blues usually have an abundance of friends. Their loved ones are a high priority in their lives.

They will give up their valuable time and energy to help friends in need.

These sensitive, caring individuals are also the perfect hosts.

They will consistently cater to their guests’ needs, offering food, drink, or whatever else is needed for comfort.

During conversations, Blues will also make sure everyone feels included.

They can become overly concerned, at times, with everyone else’s well being.

They can become so caught up in their friends’ dramas that they frequently end up

feeling more distressed and emotionally burdened than their friends feel.

A challenge for Blues is to not worry about everyone else’s problems.

They are the ultimate rescuers on the planet.

(Yellows also tend to help and rescue people, but they usually focus on using their sense of humor to cheer them up.)

Blues are good givers, but not good receivers.

They even have trouble receiving compliments.

Because they do not want to bother or inconvenience anyone, they feel guilty asking for or receiving help.

They also have trouble delegating authority.

Consequently, they become incredibly overworked and overwhelmed with responsibilities and with volunteering all their time. Blues are the ultimate doers — they feel people love them because they buy them gifts or work hard for them,

rather than because they are themselves lovable people.

One of Blues’ greatest lessons is to learn they are loved just the way they are, not for what they do.

Blues want deeply to be loved, though they often doubt they are loved.

They frequently doubt their self-worth.

They can hear a hundred times that they are beautiful and loved, and yet if one negative thing is said,

it is the negative they will remember.

Blues even test people (especially their mates) to see if they really love them.

“If he really loved me, he would run after me if I left him.”

“He would remember my birthday since I did so many wonderful things for him on his birthday.”

“He would worry about me if I appeared to be unhappy.”

Blues want to be loved, but don’t believe they should have to ask for it.

Because Blues are the loving and intuitive rescuers,

they want to be loved and rescued when they are depressed, overworked, or overwhelmed.

Because Blues know when someone else is upset and needs love, they expect that others know when they are upset.

However, not all the other Life Colors are as intuitive as are the Blues.

Nor do they all feel a need to rescue people.

Although Blues retreat into the bedroom and wait for someone to comfort and rescue them,

others do not understand and can even resent being manipulated by Blues’ guilt-inducing behavior.

It is when Blues don’t receive the love they want, or when they don’t recognize or accept the love given to them,

that they can become overly dramatic and consumed with self-pity.

Then they become victims and martyrs.

Out of power, they use guilt to manipulate others, hoping that if people start feeling guilty enough,

they will give Blues more love and attention. Blues just want to feel loved and appreciated.

Blues can become so emotional and depressed that they sometimes contemplate suicide,

though they will not usually go through with it for fear of hurting the people they love.

They then imagine being at their own funerals to see how many people would attend.

(just another test to see if they are loved).

Many out-of-power Blues will hit bottom before they will accept help from others.

They will become overworked, overwhelmed, ill, or devastated over relationship problems.

Usually hitting bottom is the only time Blues will give themselves permission

to stop rescuing everyone else and take care of their own needs for awhile.

Blues also hold onto the past and onto guilt more than the other colors do.

Far into their adult lives, they continue to feel guilty about things they did as children.

(It is very common for Blues to have issues with their mothers.

Yellows typically have issues with their fathers.)

They usually blame themselves when things go wrong.

They are habitually apologizing for their behavior.

“I’m Sorry” could be the Blue’s theme song.

If you step on a Blue’s foot, the Blue will apologize for being in the way.

Blues also tend to take things personally.

It’s difficult for them to be around angry people.

They see others’ anger as a personal rejection.

To become centered again, Blues must learn to love themselves, which is their greatest challenge and biggest life lesson.

But they are typically afraid that if they love themselves, no one else will.

Their greatest fear is being alone, abandoned and unloved.

To help them love themselves, Blues need to understand that all their actions are always based on one of two motives:

to give love or to be loved.

If they can realize that both are benevolent and altruistic motives,

then they can begin to be more gentle and understanding with themselves.

They also need to realize they chose to serve and to give to others.

No one has forced them. Blues achieve satisfaction and fulfillment from loving and giving to others.

To regain their power, they also need to calm down and reconnect with their inner knowing.

They need to trust that they are loved.

If they become deeply depressed, their quickest cure is to do something nice for someone else.

As soon as they focus on helping someone else, they forget about their own problems and become less depressed.

When Blues regain their balance, they return to their natural loving and generous nature.

(Helping others should be only a temporary solution,

however, because Blues can become overly involved in the lives of others to avoid facing their own fears and challenges.)

Problem Solving

Prayer and meditation are the most common tools Blues use to solve challenges.

When Blues are centered, they pray or ask their inner selves for answers.

They must learn to listen and trust the answers they receive, however.

Trusting is their biggest challenge.

When Blues have questions, whether about relationships, business, or even what to eat,

they only need to become quiet and centered, ask themselves the questions, and hear the solution inside.

When Blues are out of power, their method of solving problems involves sitting in their homes and crying to be rescued.

They often pray for help, but are not always listening inside when the answers come.

Blues’ quiet intuition, trust, and knowing will give them the answers they need and solve their challenges every time.

Money

People and relationships are more important to Blues than money,

so they often struggle financially, choosing low-paying, service-oriented jobs.

Because money is not a priority, Blues are usually fearful of not having enough,

especially when they have families to support.

In addition, it is easier for them to complain, suffer,

and dramatize their hard work and sacrifices than it is for them to ask for a raise.

Because Blues are very good givers but not very good receivers,

one challenge for them is learning to receive money.

They usually feel that their services should come from the heart,

not from a desire for money.

They commonly feel that being spiritual means being opposed to having material wealth.

Even though Blues are happy being givers, they need to learn how to receive.

By never learning to receive, they are cheating others out of the joy of giving and are,

to a certain extent, looking down on them.

They are, in a sense, saying, “I am wonderful and prosperous enough to give to you.

You, however, are not prosperous or powerful enough to give to me.”

The most loving and empowering gesture a Blue can make is to allow others to feel prosperous,

generous, and capable of giving. This empowers others to feel good about their capabilities.

Blues can also feel guilty having more than their friends or families have.

They subconsciously feel they must suffer with everyone else not being prosperous or in harmonious, satisfying relationships.

If friends are suffering financially,

Blues will either empathize and complain about their similar financial situations or give them money to help them out.

Blues will also try to help everyone first before they will help themselves.

They feel that sacrificing their needs and putting others first shows how loving they are.

They often fear being unloved and alone or of being seen as selfish if they succeed.

As long as Blues feel they must help everyone else first, they are destined to suffer.

Their bravest and most loving action is to first live their own dreams of abundance,

love, health, and happiness, which will inspire others to live their dreams, too.

(What motivates Blues is discovering that their actions will help others.)

Blues also need to learn that love, happiness, prosperity, and spirituality can all be connected.

Success

Blues define their success by how many people love them and by how many people they have been able to help.

The quantity and quality of friends, the length and quality of their marriages,

the depth of their compassion and loyalty to those they love,

and their dedication to their spirituality are what they consider to be most important.
